The 3rd Turkish-US Cytometry Workshop on the "Applications of Laser Flow Cytometry" was hosted by the Immunology Society of Turkey and the Microbiology Department of the Akdeniz University School of Medicine in Antalya, Turkey from October 26th - 29th, 2011.
The four days of lectures and wet labs were presented by Turkish faculty and eight visiting faculty (A. Krishan, L.S. Cram, B. Wood, W. Telford, P. Smith, J.P. Robinson, P. McCoy and R. Cabana) from abroad.
More than 50 students attended the lectures and 35 students participated in the wet labs.
Support was provided by the ISAC, ICCS, Becton Dickinson and Beckman Coulter.
